Introducing Harry, Hermione, and Ron
In 2000, 11-year-old Daniel Radcliffe, 10-year-old Emma Watson, and 12-year-old Rupert Grint pose after they are announced as the stars of the new movie franchise based on J.K. Rowling's wildly popular novels. For the next decade, Radcliffe plays the boy wizard/hero Harry Potter, Watson is smarty-pants Hermione Granger, and Grint is insecure but loyal Ron Weasley.

Daniel's Big Debut
Radcliffe and series author J.K. Rowling arrive at the London premiere of the franchise's first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Rowling approved the casting of Radcliffe after an exhaustive search: "Having seen Dan Radcliffe's screen test, I don't think [director] Chris Columbus could have found a better Harry."

Movie Giants
Robbie Coltrane, who plays the lovable Hogwarts half-giant Hagrid, dwarfs 13-year-old Daniel Radcliffe at the London premiere of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, 2002.

Creeping Up the A-List
Daniel Radcliffe goofs around with Heath Ledger at the AFI Awards, Australia's most prestigious film-industry event, in 2006. Earlier that year Ledger was nominated for Best Actor Oscar, and Radcliffe was beginning to explore acting outside the Harry Potter movies (he'd star in the play Equus and the movie December Boys in 2007).

Put Down That Cigarette, Harry!
Daniel Radcliffe smokes during a scene from the 2007 West End revival of the play Equus. It's not the only nau*hty thing Radcliffe, then 17, did in the role: He also got nak*d.

Rocking the Faux-Hawk

Waving to Fans in Tokyo
Grint and Watson say hello at a 2004 press conference promoting the third movie in the series, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. The director of that movie, Alfonso Cuaron, called Grint "the likely future star out of the Hogwarts trio."

Bowl-ed Over

Sporting the slightest hint of stubble and wearing a Hendrix T-shirt under a blazer, Grint reveals his stylish side at the New York premiere of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, July 2009.

Over-the-Shoulder Look
Watson, age 17, works a pose at the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix premiere in Hollywood, 2007.

Sophisticated Pixie
In 2010, Watson had the style world buzzing when she chopped off her locks into a chic pixie cut. Here she is in November 2010, going short and sexy at the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part I.

Dan inilah gallery untuk film terakhir mereka. Semua sudah terlihat dewasa dan anggun.

Goodbye, Magical Friends
Ten years after they started, the Harry Potter movies conclude in July 2011, with the sure-to-be-epic Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. The world premiere in London's Trafalgar Square on July 7, 2011, drew fans in droves, many of whom had grown up with the movies and the J.K. Rowling book series upon which they were based. Also there: the stars, of course. . . Pictured: franchise stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint with Rowling, the woman who helped make their careers.
